A pregnant woman stands in a home office, smiling and cradling her belly. She is wearing a light blue, long-sleeved dress with puffed sleeves and is positioned near white bookshelves filled with books, framed photos, and decorative items. There are colorful paintings on the wall behind her and a chair with a striped blanket to her right.

Meet Meghan

Welcome, I’m Meghan Jones, founder of Clarabelle Designs, built on the belief that clarity emerges when you’re surrounded by what you find beautiful.

As a mom, I’m always noticing what my children are naturally drawn to and how their talents unfold. My own gift has always been design. I’ve built a rewarding career in financial services, channeling my eye for detail and patterns into analytical work, but the nudge to nurture my creative side never left.

That pull eventually led me to the New York School of Interior Design, where I earned my certificate in 2020. Soon after, I immersed myself in designing our home from the ground up—a project that reminded me how deeply our surroundings shape our daily lives. Your home is the backdrop to the beginning and ending of each day.

Today, I’m a mom to four young children and two dogs, living in the beautiful chaos that so many families know well. I intimately understand how real families live. I believe homes should be beautiful and practical—elevated spaces that support everyday life without sacrificing style.

Through Clarabelle Designs, I help clients create meaningful spaces that tell their story. Whether you’re embarking on a renovation, furnishing a new home, or refining the details of a beloved space, I’m here to guide you toward a home that feels like your truest reflection.

Get to Know Meghan

Clarabelle Designs was founded on the belief that thoughtful design has the power to bring both beauty and clarity into everyday life. The name itself reflects this philosophy. Clarabelle is derived from two roots: “Clara,” from the Latin clarus, meaning clear, bright, and refined, and “Belle,” from the French word for beautiful, lovely, and graceful. Together, they form a meaning that perfectly captures the heart of the brand:

This idea guides every space I design—interiors and exteriors that feel intentional, layered with meaning, and deeply personal.

A kitchen with white cabinets with gold handles, a white range hood with gold accents, a vintage blue oven, a white countertop with a kitchen sink, a blue and beige patterned rug, and gold pendant lights.

A Peek Behind the Design

Here’s a playful look at what inspires Meghan’s approach to creating meaningful, beautiful spaces.

Your interior style in three words. Classic meets whimsy

What’s one design rule you love to break—and why? I love mixing metals and varied wood tones to add dimension to a space—a choice most designers would agree elevates a room.

Do you gravitate toward color or monochrome pieces? Patterns or solids? Color and pattern for sure.

If your home could tell a story, what would the opening line be? Our home embraces duality—timeless yet playful, whimsical yet refined, equally ready for family chaos and calm moments of reflection.

Your favorite room in your house? Our family room—it’s the room we spend the most time in, but it took me the longest to get just right. New ceiling beams were the missing layer, and the room finally feels complete. The result was worth every revision!

Do you have a favorite color palette right now—or are you color-mood-driven? I’ve become so much more comfortable stretching into new color palettes; it’s made my work feel richer and braver to incorporate all colors.

Maximalist or minimalist? Maximalist–varied textures and patterns, bold colors, more dimension!

Dogs, kids, or guests—who tests your home’s durability the most? Between our four young children and two dogs, our home is definitely well-loved and well-tested! Right now, the little ones are the toughest on the house, but we truly believe beautiful and family-friendly can absolutely coexist.
